What does a day of sickness absence really cost?
Dr. med. Mathias Siegfried MBA, Mitgründer
Direct wage costs, lost output, overtime, team morale: a single day of absence quickly adds up to between CHF 600 and CHF 1,000.

The specialised medical practice for fitness for work – not for sick notes
We are convinced that employee health is no side issue. It is the foundation of business success.
That is why we make sure no one gets lost in the system.
We create clarity while others are still hesitating.
We act early to set the right course, and we accompany people back into everyday working life – medically well-founded, empathetic and solution-oriented.
With digital tools, medical independence and genuine dialogue between insurers, companies and employees, we pave the way back to a stable working life.
Because health is not just a condition, it is the prerequisite for self-determination, participation and economic strength.
We take on the role known elsewhere as occupational physician or company doctor – as physician-led absence management, digitally run and consistently focused on fitness for work. Our assessments hold up: with the employer, with the insurer, in legal disputes – and towards employees.
We are the neutral medical authority between insurer, employer and treatment. We assess work capacity independently, issue work capacity certificates and support return-to-work processes in a structured way.
We combine digital telemedicine with conventional medicine and place work capacity at the centre. We think across disciplines, act quickly and actively involve everyone concerned: insurers, employers, employees and physicians. Our digital tools enable structured communication and clear decisions: data-based, traceable and human.
We believe that absences due to illness and accident can be managed more efficiently, more humanely and with a stronger focus on solutions – to the benefit of insurers, companies and employees. That is why we are driving a new kind of collaboration: digital, medically well-founded and focused on shared solutions rather than individual interests.

Not the whole working day, but part of it – limited in time or to certain activities, always clarified case by case.
Selected case examples from our practice – anonymised, factual and with measurable results.
Please note: the case examples are currently available in German only.
Support starts from day 3, or by arrangement – depending on the situation also only from day 7 or 14. The case is usually reported by HR.
For employees the service is free of charge. They receive comprehensive advice and support in communicating their work capacity to the employer. We clarify possible workplace adjustments and support their implementation. Employee health is the most important resource – and we want to preserve it.
The employer receives only the information relevant for planning. Diagnoses and medical details remain protected by medical confidentiality.
By telemedicine from day 3, or by arrangement, usually within 48 to 72 hours of the report being received – with no travel and no waiting room.
Our services are aimed at companies of every size as well as at insurers, case management units and law firms. Ultimately everyone involved benefits – employees in particular.
Targeted return-to-work strategies, partial work models and structured support measurably reduce illness and accident costs – with greater stability for everyone involved.
