1. Data controller

2. Scope
This policy applies to the processing of personal data on this website. AcciMed's medical activities — examinations, assessments and reports — are governed by medical professional secrecy and the legal provisions applicable to it. We inform the persons concerned about this separately within the respective engagement.
Where the European General Data Protection Regulation applies to visitors from the EEA, we grant the rights it provides for to the same extent.
3. Hosting and delivery
This website is operated and delivered via the Lovable platform [provider, registered office and delivery region — to be completed by AcciMed]. Data is transmitted in encrypted form (SSL/TLS). When you access the site, technically necessary connection data is processed, in particular your device's IP address.
4. Third-party services
When you access our pages, content is loaded from the following providers. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to them. This happens for technical reasons while the page loads and cannot be avoided without forgoing the content.
Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC): we load our website's typeface from Google's servers. This affects all pages.
YouTube (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC): on the home page, under Prevention and in the video gallery we embed YouTube videos. We use the extended privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which prevents YouTube from setting advertising cookies before playback. The thumbnails are loaded from a Google server.
Clearbit (Clearbit / HubSpot, Inc., USA): on the About us page we load our partners' logos from Clearbit.
Unsplash (Unsplash / Getty Images, USA): we use images from Unsplash for the article images in the Case of the week section.
In the case of providers domiciled in the USA, it cannot be ruled out that data is transferred to a country that does not offer a level of data protection comparable to that of Switzerland.
Not embedded: analytics services, advertising networks, social media plugins and visitor statistics. Links to external sites — for example to our appointment booking tool or to LinkedIn — only establish a connection once you click the link.
5. Contact form
When you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you provide: first name, surname, company, email address, telephone number, your message and your consent to this policy.
We use the service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor to send the notification. The content you submit is passed on to this service.
We use your details solely to process your enquiry and do not pass them on beyond that. We retain them for as long as is necessary to process your enquiry and deal with any follow-up questions, as a rule twelve months.
6. Cookies and local storage
We do not set any cookies. Your choice in the notice about data storage is stored solely locally in your browser (local storage) and is not transmitted to us. Your behaviour on our website is not analysed and no profiles are created.
7. Your rights
You have the right to request information about the personal data we process. You may also request the correction of inaccurate data and its deletion, object to the processing and request that your data be handed over in a common electronic format. Please contact info@accimed.ch.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Switzerland this is the EDÖB (Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner).
9. Changes
We update this policy when our data processing changes. The version published on this page at any given time is the authoritative one.
